Identifying the positions of hydrogen atoms leads to interesting structure determination, which is beneficial for drug discovery research, such as determining whether the drug is a salt or co-crystal. In this study, the authors have achieved \u201cdirect\u201d salt\/cocrystal determinations for three well-known APIs using 3D ED \/ MicroED technology. These APIs were previously determined by \u201cindirect\u201d methods about salts or co-crystals.
